First thoughts about my Blog

So, after weeks and weeks every visitor saw simply nothing, I decided to start my Blog with a few thoughts about even that Blog.
At first I will say that my English is...lets say "improvable".
Although I live in Germany I will try to make my Blog understandable for everyone.

So, now a few facts about me. I'm 17 and a pupil, but I earn a bit money with working in a "Kindergarten" (my English teacher told me that this word is used in English too). My first contact with wargaming was a flyer in the VHS of the first Lord of the Rings movie. I was...12 probably 13 when I bought my first miniatures. Now I got a long way from Lord of the Rings to Warhammer 40000 to Warhammer Fantasy to Flames of War; to name a few of the rule systems I use(d). At the moment I am more into painting historical miniatures but im looking for a bust to improve/test my painting skills.
Because I still live at home, my hobby place is not so large as it should be ;)
The last months I was painting around my economy books, my english novels and all this school things. Yesterday evening (precisely 11pm) I decided to tidy up my desk and make it usuable for my hobby. At midnight I was the happy owner of a clean (and larger than I thought) painting desk.
This Afternoon I made a few pictures to show you  where I am working on my miniatures:

There is still a lot of work to do. I need a new lamp with daylight bulbs, 1 or 2 new brushes and  some things to  organize my colours and pencils. But all in all I'm really happy with my work and in my opinion it's a fine place to bring some paint on his miniatures.
Because I don't want to show you  my room and various pieces of furniture I decided to show you my probably best painted miniature. It's  the Goblin king from Avatars of War and I painted him while my painting workshop in Möchengladbach, guided by Jarhead/ Roman.

Not the best pics, I have to build me a photobox.
I hope you will enjoy this blog, I will do my very best to make it interesting for you.
Regards,
Lukas
